In order to directly support stock farming in this area and to provide sufficient quantities of milk required for proper functioning of new-opened Diary, 15 cows for 15 families of different ethnicities (Serbian, Albanian and Bosniak families) were purchased and distributed to selected farmers through direct project support. Identification and selection of farm entrepreneurs was performed by Kosovo Association of Milk Producers (KAMP) and Caritas Kosova in coordination with IOM. All 15 farm entrepreneurs registered into KAMP as per criteria and regulations established within the Ministry of Agriculture.
