International Day of Women and Girls in Science
This year we will celebrate women scientists fighting the pandemic in different parts of the world. The world needs science, and science needs women and girls.
Women have led ground-breaking research into public health, vaccines, treatments, and innovative technology, and been on the front lines of COVID-19 response as scientists, health care workers, and more.
It’s more important than ever to recognize women’s contributions in science, smash stereotypes and defeat discrimination against women and girls in science.
We are so proud to have our girls work hard on solving problems with technology through the Tech Heroes program.
Tech Heroes is supported by the @British Embassy Pristina (British Embassy in Pristina) and implemented by #IOM Kosovo (International Organization for Migration) and @Akademia jCoders.
