IOM Mobile Team Continues Mental Health and Psychosocial Support to Migrants
May 5, 2021 - IOM Kosovo is continually evaluating its approach and interventions, broadening its support to vulnerable migrants. Many of them face difficult situations that put their mental health under significant stress. Some show remarkable resilience, while others need extra support in improving their well-being.

That is why IOM’s Mobile Team in Kosovo with its two psychologists and translators continues to contribute in ensuring that psychological needs are taken into account and addressed appropriately. Their daily sessions at the immigration centre in Vranidoll are welcome by migrants, and encourage their active participation toward a more positive individual well-being.

The psychosocial interventions/sessions are funded by the EU Service for Foreign Policy Instruments EU Foreign Policy within the project Addressing COVID-19 Challenges within the Migrant and Refugee Response in the Western Balkans.
