IOM supported a young musician to start his career
Linking work with passion is one of the most joyful experiences for plenty of IOM beneficiaries. Whereas IOM continues to put people's needs at the centre of our work and support employment of non-majority communities.
“The donation to which I am grateful has opened me new horizons!” - Stevan Stanojković, Šilovo/Shillovë, Gjilan/Gnjilane
IOM through the EU/CSP IV programme supported Stevan Stanojković with professional music equipment including a keyboard and microphone, so he can practice his talent and become a musician as he always wanted. As a professional musician with a major in piano, he is thinking of starting his career this summer so he can generate some income and grow up in his journey. He told us that music always had a special place in his heart, but due to economic reasons, he never thought he could make a career in this profession.
Thanks to IOM donation he now is thinking of forming a band and starting to play gigs in different bars or wedding ceremonies, to generate some income that would bring him the sustainability to create and produce his music.
This business was enabled with the support of the EU project managed by the European Union Office in Kosovo in partnership with the Ministry of Communities and Return and it is implemented by IOM.
