IOM Supports Kosovo Probation Services
April 16, 2021 - IOM continues to support relevant institutions in Kosovo aiming to strengthen their capacities in the field of reintegration. This is also the case with the Kosovo Probation Services which works hand in hand with the prevention and reintegration services of Kosovo and largely contributes to the sustainable reintegration of foreign war participants and their families.
As part of an established cooperation and support, the Kosovo Probation Services has been provided today with IT equipment which will enable and support the standard work of probation services, and the agency’s offices located in all seven regions of the country.
This action has been proposed and supported from the bearer of the Prevention and Reintegration Division (DPR) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, with the aim to back their activties in this field.
The support has been provided by IOM through the regional project 'Providing support to youth in local communities in the Western Balkans', financially supported by the Government of the United Kingdom, and is being implemented in 10 municipalities throughout Kosovo.
