Kosovo first National Steering Committee – WBCAP/WBIBM
IOM Kosovo has organized the first National Steering Committee Meeting on the “Western Balkans Integrated Border Management Capacity Facility (WBIBM) and Readmission Capacity Building Facility (WBCAP”).
The meeting has served to discuss the WBIBM/WBCAP working plan and implementation dynamics for the 2022-2023 period aiming to support the authorities in the Western Balkans to effectively manage their borders and respond to border security challenges. It will also contribute to the migrant protection principles as well as on enhancing national migration management and readmission system in the Western Balkans. The meeting also covered discussion regarding the support of IT capacities and databases to be provided within the Facilities.
The facilities “Western Balkans Integrated Border Management Capacity Facility (WBIBM) and Readmission Capacity Building Facility (WBCAP”) are being implemented by IOM and funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.
