Meeting with Serbian minority businesses at Kosovo Chamber of Commerce
IOM in cooperation with the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce - KCC - (Oda Ekonomike E Kosoves) organized a meeting with Serbian minority businesses at KCC's premises. The meeting was hosted by the President of KCC, his associates, and IOM Focal Point, where 16 minority businesses from different parts of Kosovo and various economic sectors participated.
The objective of the meeting was to introduce the KCC, its activities and services, and the possibility for minority businesses to become members of the Chamber of Commerce, in order to facilitate the inclusion of minority businesses into local and national markets. Questions and comments raised by the entrepreneurs were mostly about challenges and obstacles that they are facing and what assistance the Kosovo Chamber of Commerce can provide in order to overcome such issues.
The outcome of the meeting was very fruitful and businesses expressed willingness to cooperate and to become members of KCC. Further steps to enroll into KCC will be taken in coordination between businesses, IOM Focal Point and KCC officials.
