Tech Heroes Competition Concludes
To document a successful cooperation between different ethnicities in Kosovo, as an example of an open mindset that will build paths to win the future in this digital age, the Tech Heroes program and competition has concluded on the 1st of April 2021, with the announcement of winners.
Tech Heroes is an initiative designed and implemented by jCoders Academy together with IOM and supported by the British Embassy Pristina. The initiative aims to create opportunities for ethnicities in Kosovo to work together in designing technological solutions to improve the society. This project officially marks the first time that technology is used as a common denominator to raise awareness about the need to work together for a better future, which indeed will require digital skills.
In total, Tech Heroes 3rd edition had 210 participants from 9 municipalities divided into 22 teams. 14 teams were qualified and made it to the final event.
