Wine and Spirits Producer Receives New Technology
The municipality of Rahovec/Orahovac is traditionally known for its vineyards and delicious wine production. An experienced Serbian wine and spirits maker in the village Hoça e Madhe/Velika Hoča was happy to receive new technology to expand his production, in early March. The assistance consisting of a cauldron for brandy was delivered by IOM through its Community Stabilization Program (CSP) IV, which is funded by the European Union and co-financed by the Ministry of Communities and Returns.
With over 20 years of wine-making experience, the owner of the Vinarija Brkić business expects to enhance the quality of his products and hire a new full-time employee. The business has an established reputation, selling to many local hotels and restaurants.
