Founded in 1989, BINNI SH.P.K. was one of the first companies in Kosovo providing services and products for doors, windows and furniture. Today, traditional Albanian wood work is combined with advanced manufacturing techniques and international best practices, resulting in products demonstrating a combination of comfort, creativity, and sophistication.
Through the support from the MSME Grants Programme BINNI were able to purchase a wide belt sander, an edge-bender machine, a polishing machine, a furniture boards stacking machine, and software for wooden furniture production. The new technology has led to improved product competitiveness, drastically reduced production costs and delivery that led to improved competitiveness of the company.
The new machinery has increased overall productivity and created 39 new jobs to operate them. It also opened up the possibility for BINNI to start exporting to Switzerland, Norway and Germany, thus increasing export sales by 270%.
