Presentation of language report commissioned by IOM
Independent report "The Issue of Languages - Communication among members of Serbian and Albanian Communities in Kosovo, Public Opinion Poll 2018", commissioned by IOM and the British Embassy Pristina and drafted by the Center for Social Initiatives was presented today.
The issue of languages is of crucial importance for Kosovo society and its two biggest ethnic communities. The Center for Social Initiatives has conducted a research on the communication among members of Serbian and Albanian Communities in Kosovo. The independent report was commissioned by IOM and is part of the project "Building Societal Connections and Protection of Minorities is Kosovo" funded by the British Embassy, Pristina and implemented by IOM Kosovo in cooperation with the Office of the Language Commissioner under the auspices of the Prime Minister's office. The research results were officially presented yesterday at the Capital Gate building, in the presence of stakeholders from different organizations, national and local institutions, civil society and the media.
